Dated Lunglei, the 13th July 2015.

           In pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting of State Level Empowered Committee on Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) held on 11/3/2015 (vide para 16) and instruction issued by the General Administration Department vide letter No. 20016/1/2015-GAD dt. 5.6.2015, an Enforcement Team for effective implementation of the provisions under The Mizoram Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act, 1995 is hereby constituted with the following members with immediate effect and until further order:-

Terms of reference of the Enforcement Team shall be as follows –

  1. To visit/inspect various public properties, which are being defaced and take necessary steps for their restoration.
  2. To receive complaints regarding defacement of properties and dispose thereof.
  3. To educate the general public regarding the provisions under the Act ibid.
  4. Submission of monthly report to the Deputy Commissioner.
